Building a Chimney with ISOKERN DM Components

1. Metal Top Seal
   Gives ventilation between casings.
   (Optional)
2. Cap
   Finished cap bedded in mortar
   (Optional)
3. Exposed Chimney Facing
   Exposed chimney must be stuccoed, sponge floated, brick or stone veneer.
4. Flashing
   Typical flashing application.
   Supplied by other

6. Brick/Stone Ledge
   Used for brick application.
7. Appliance Exhaust Pipe Connection
   The hole for the connection can be drilled and chisled per application.
8. Reinforcement
   If reinforcement is applied the rebar needs to overlay by 2'.
9. Flue Liner
   Available in 6", 8" & 12".
10. Starter Flue
    6" high flue to offset lenghts.
11. Clean Out Access
    Access door not available use standard fit.
12. Application of Mortar to Module
    ISOKERN mortar must be applied to all sections.
13. Bottom Casing
    Outer casing can make bottom stand. Filled with concrete.
14. Foundation
    Foundation needed as per building code.
